In the hourglass, sand is dropping like you wouldn’t believe,
In the hourglass, I thought we had time but I was naive.
I was in the past, but that’s somewhere that I can no longer stay.
Time is rarely vast, especially when you are in your own way.
I don’t wanna wait no longer, but I don’t want my time to fly,
While I wish that I was younger, but time wouldn’t quantify.
Want in on my days of glory, but I know those days are gone.
